Project Duration: Long Term
Effort: M-F, 8 hours per day with a 30-minute lunch break

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Quality Management (over 5 years of quality related and managerial experience), with an excellent command of Romanian and English, who is in deep in Quality Management area, including process definition and documentation.
The Head of Quality Management leads the organization’s quality assurance framework, ensuring that services provided by each unit consistently meet or exceed established organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. QMS
Develop, implement, and oversee the overall Quality Management System (QMS), aligning with organizational goals and ISO standards (for ISO standards, we will decide upon need of implementation and certification).
2. KPI’s
Understand industry KPI’s, define them and develop (were missing) a tracking methodology and identify, if exists, or implement, if missing, a reporting framework. Collaborate with global cross functional teams to drive quality objectives and performance improvements.
3. Audits
Create an audit structure and lead internal quality audits.
4. Process monitoring and improvement
Define and implement a methodology for process corrections and preventive action (CAPA), root-cause analysis and risk mitigation strategies across teams. Drive continuous improvement efforts using chosen methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) for improved quality and operational excellence.
5. Quality culture improvement
Oversight collaboration across departments to facilitate the adoption and improvement of the quality culture throughout organization.
Encourage and support diversity and inclusive work environment which contributes to the exchange of ideas and diversity of thoughts, that inspires innovation and brings the best solutions to our customers.
6. Management responsibilities
Coordinate quality management scope and budgeting, team staffing and departmental performance oversight.
7. Global Consistency locally
Ensure our quality centric best practices are harmonized across our units to reduce variation in our processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management or a related technical discipline.
At least 5 years of experience in a management and quality leadership role, particularly within tech or manufacturing environments.
Broad experience in implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 or equivalent quality frameworks.
A plus for being familiar in using and applying the principles of continuous improvement tools like Lean, Six Sigma, etc.
Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to understand and cooperate inside a complex cross-functional teams’ environment.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, data analysis. Able to identifying trends, recommend corrective actions and propose strategic decisions.
