Position Overview:
As a Financial Analyst, you will support the smooth and accurate management of the company’s financial transactions. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will help ensure that outgoing payments are processed on time, and incoming funds are accurately matched, and any irregularities or suspicious activities are promptly identified and flagged.
Responsibilities within the team:
Process daily bank transfers – Ensures suppliers, staff and partners are paid on schedule
Match incoming payments to invoices – Make reports and confirm we have received the right amounts from customers
Maintain the accounts ledger – Keeps our financial records clean and up to date
Prepare simple weekly and monthly reports (e.g., cash balance, outstanding invoices, basic profit & loss) – Gives management a clear picture of cash flow and performance
Monitor for errors or fraud (e.g., duplicate payments, unusual transactions) – Protects the company from loss and regulatory issues
Support audits and compliance checks – Makes external reviews smoother and faster
Collaborate with senior finance colleagues – Learn best practices and share workload when volumes peak.
Job requirements
Facing the challenges of the role requires:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a finance or accounting-related role
A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, but alternatively, relevant practical experience in the field is also valued
Comfortable working with spreadsheets and online banking platforms
Strong attention to detail – able to catch and fix small errors before they escalate
High level of confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive financial data
Ability to communicate financial information to non-finance colleagues
Curious mindset and eagerness to learn from experienced finance professionals.
